I believe if someone loves Jesus, they obey the scriptures and take communion. It should not be denied to someone who desires to follow the Lord!

I'm sorry this happended. It does not reflect the heart of God.

He is loving, compassionate, and full of grace and mercy (as you know).

All for Jesus,
JulieGod's Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16243305583073144169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24433408.post-84390934734376854662008-08-28T17:11:00.000-04:002008-08-28T17:11:00.000-04:00Ahh! How do you "spoil" one? What happens to a "spoiled" baby? Can you really hold them, hug them and kiss them too much? What will happen if you do that? Hmmmm.....I think every baby should have that problem. More babies need to be hugged, kissed and loved on constantly.

Jen's right - you can't spoil Jordan. You provide her with food, clothing, and comfort. You provide her with all her basic needs. You are her whole world right now so it makes sense that she would be a bit uneasy when you aren't around.

She's your baby! Enjoy these little baby moments and go ahead and try to spoil her rotten if you can...Karinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10190263748901926761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24433408.post-29071347175659263692008-08-28T15:32:00.000-04:002008-08-28T15:32:00.000-04:00And Ian misses Kate, too.And don't worry Jen.... t...And Ian misses Kate, too.

And don't worry Jen.... they're not missing out on the privelege - they've both had communion in our own church, just not at the Catholic Church that oversees their school. And you are right - it isn't part of the standard doctrine, but this particular priest has personally enforced his own interpretation in a number of areas. It's unfortunate and I tried to get together with him to discuss it, but his assistant made it clear he was unwilling. Pity.
And a final BTW, he also made it clear it's a mortal sin to have communion if you've chewed gum within 60 minutes of having communion. Funny but I don't remember reading that ever coming up at the last supper.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24433408.post-7240496655894272912008-08-28T14:29:00.000-04:002008-08-28T14:29:00.000-04:00I'm not an expert on Catholicism or any religion f...I'm not an expert on Catholicism or any religion for that matter, but, I don't think what the parish priest told you is correct.
