I am so excited to share with you all that we are adding to our family :-)
Meet Willow!
Adorable, yes?
Oh yes!
He's only three weeks old so it will be end of October/early November before we get to bring him home. He is one out of a litter of nine, and we were so excited to have first pick. We knew we wanted a male, and there were four to choose from. We went tonight to see them, and Ian, Sam, Julie and I each cuddled one for a little bit, then passed them along to the next person. It was so hard to decide which one would be perfect for our family.
Well, at least until I held him...
He snuggled right into me and started to fall asleep. I am in love. I can't wait until he comes home. We bought him the smallest collar we could find and it's still too big for him.
Much to my surprise and disappointment, I've had a couple of people tell me that we're crazy and/or stupid to be doing this or criticizing the name we've chosen.
You know what I have to say about that?
It's our family.
It's our decision.
It's our responsibility.
It's our business.
Our friend has eight more little ones that need good homes. Want one for yourself and live in greater Toronto area? Contact me at katieb38@hotmail.com and I will send you all the details.
That's all.
Over and out.
So incredibly adorable! I'll never forget the first time we went to pick out our Brady and how little he was. Actually, we didn't pick him out - he picked us, which is how we knew it was meant to be! You'll be so happy. Boo to those who think you are a crazy. That puppy will be your kids' best friend!
ReplyDeleteOh My Kate! He is PRECIOUS! Congratulations! He is the PERFECT addition to your family! :)
ReplyDeleteKids and Puppies! A great combination....
ReplyDeleteWait....it's a boy right? Ummmm...and HIS name is Willow?
Alrighty then..... just saying ;)
Precious! What kind of dog is he? He looks alot like a Golden Retriever!?
ReplyDeleteI know your little ones are thrilled to death! Cant wait to see more pics
AWW! That is one cute pup! I'm just getting two kittens next week, when they are old enough to leave their Mother. I have always had cats and dogs, but I just lost an old cat, so I thought that I would get two kittens. I chose one that is all ginger, and the other is ginger and white. The problem is what to call them!
ReplyDeleteI found your site quite by accident, but I have put myself down as a follower simply because we have new babies to look after!
Good Luck!
Blessings, x
Awwwwwwwwwwwww, if that doesn't melt a person's heart, then nothing will! I wish I lived in the area. I'd love one. SOOOO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteHow precious! I remember when we got our puppy, my family was pretty harsh about what they thought about it. Only problem is, its OUR dog, not theirs lol. And our little Bitsy, is part of our close knit family now! Love her to pieces!
