Do you want to know what I did today? I baked. A lot. Two dozen chocolate cupcakes, two dozen brownies, a dozen chocolate chip cookies and a dozen peanut butter cookies.

Sam said he felt as though he died and went to Heaven, and asked me why I baked so much. I said because I was feeling a little stressed out and it was a good way to channel it. Then he asked what he could do to stress me out on a regular basis.

Sigh. I love that kid.

Tomorrow I need to do something with all the apples we picked so that I don't lose them. I wonder if I can freeze apple pie filling. Anyone know if I can? Anyone? Anyone....?

You know what else I did today? I straightened my hair and I wish I didn't. I guess there was a reason why my flat iron was shoved all the way in the back of my bathroom cabinet. Because I was trying to tell myself not to do it again.

And you know what else I did today? I enjoyed my baby. Jordan and I played with her blocks and her stacking cups, cuddled and chased each other around the house. She babbled and sang all day and I enjoyed every minute of it. She sat on the counter beside me and taste tested everything I baked. She practiced her kisses on me. It was beautiful day with her.

I want to sew something but I don't own a sewing machine and I can't sew.

Do you see my predicament? Well, I did sew baby blankets when I was expecting Jordan, but that was sew easy. (Get it? SEW easy?)
