Ian got word this afternoon that the position went to the other candidate.
Thank you for your prayers and notes of encouragement. We appreciate it so much.
God has a plan for us, there's no doubt about that. He is good.

You are so right....He has a plan and since this isn't it - you can only stop and wonder how wonderful His plan will be when it's revealed....SO MUCH BETTER than you could ever have imagined.
ReplyDeleteNolan and I were just talking about that this morning....about why God says "no" or "wait" to us sometimes. We even discussed examples of times when He told us "no" and although we were upset at the time, in hindsight, we were so thankful for that answer because His plan worked out so much better. Reminds me of that line from an old Garth Brook's song, "Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers". Makes me kindof excited to find out just what he has in store for you guys!
