Wow. Sunday rolled around pretty fast, if i do say so myself. Yesterday was a glorious "me" day... Two and half hours at the hair salon being pampered and beautified, followed by a visit with my mom and sister, then lots of reading and relaxing. I felt so rejuvenated.
Today will be filled with laundry and housework. But first... a little Getting To Know You fun, hosted by Keely at Mannland5!
1. Do you iron your sheets?
Umm...do people really do this? For real? Not in this house. I can't imagine how long that would take. And then they would get wrinkled the first time they were laid on. Nope. I can think of much better ways to waste my time thankyouverymuch.
2. Your dream car is....?
I'm going to be honest here...I love my mini-van. Love.It. Especially the DVD player, which ensures fuss-free errand running. It fits the three kids and horse-dog quite well.
A mini-van...it's what the coolest moms drive.
3. Do you have an innie or an outie belly button?
It's an innie.
4. What meal do you look forward to the most..breakfast, lunch, or dinner?
Dinner. I love sitting down together and talking about our days. It's always so great to reconnect after our time apart.
Although, breakfast is a close second. I am completely in love with Raisin Bran and I look forward to it every morning.
5. Favorite mascara?
Cover Girl. It does the job.
6. What would you say your decorating style is..traditional, modern, eclectic, country, french country, shabby chic, etc..?
Is Fisher Price a decorating style? Because we totally rock that.
I'm also a fan of country and shabby chic.
7. Have you ever been skinny dipping?
Not yet.
8. I hate the smell of...?
Dog poop. Seriously...that smell just about knocks me over.
I also don't like the smell of curry, bacon, smoke or wet dog.
Head on over to Keely's blog Mannland5 and play along too! No blog? No problem! Just leave your answers in the comment section so I can read them!
Thanks Keely!
Hahaha- Fisher Price (as well as the Disney Princess line) decorate our house as well:)
ReplyDeleteI think people actually do iron their sheets..crazy as it sounds!!
ReplyDeleteOoohh I hate the smll of bacon after it's been cooked..maybe it's the bacon grease smeell..and dog poop too..nasty!
I think you should go skinny dipping!
I want to see your pretty hair!!
Thanks for playing Kate..I feel so honoured..:-)
Okay so I agree with you on the dog poop. Ewwwwww...... But bacon? Bacon is nummy!
ReplyDeleteIroning sheets, I've never heard of it either, but I wouldn't waste my time doing it either.
Everybody should go skinny dipping at least once!
ReplyDeleteIsn't an iron one of those things they used in the old days? Never owned one.
This really made me laugh! No, I think ironing sheets is a total waste of time, and I hate the smell of any meat cooking! I'm vegetarian, so meat just turns my stomach!
ReplyDeleteDog poo and wet dog makes me feel sick, but then so does horse and cow poo.
And yes, I've been skinny dipping! It is one of the most liberating feelings in the world! I would recommend trying that at least once!
Ha! I said dog poop, too! Ever get that on your shoe and accidentally get in the car??? Ugh!
ReplyDeleteChristine - Oh yes, we went through the Disney Princess decorating phase too! So sweet. Hoping to do it again with Miss Jordan ;-)
ReplyDeleteKeely - Bacon is gross! Although is there anything more potent than doggy poo? I say NOOO.
RaD - Bacon=ewww. I want to meet someone who irons their sheets and ask them WHY!?
Stacey - I used to be an ironing freak. The kids shirts, underwear... I did iron pillow cases back in the day, but never sheets.
Alice in Wonderland - I don't think I could ever be a vegetarian. Ever. But I certainly respect that you are. And me skinny dipping? Oh dear.. I don't know if I could, but I want to!
Oh PENNIE!!! I think I threw up in my mouth a little bit there...
ReplyDeleteYeah, wet dog drive me INSANE. I hate the winter cause our Dog inevitably goes out to go potty and comes in smelling HORID.
ReplyDeleteDeborah - oh sweet mercy yes! What about rainy days and muddy feet and bellies? GROSS!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous, I would love nothing more than a sweet pimped out mini van. sigh. Dog poop = gross. Also, would it even warm up enough way up there to skinny dip? I'm clueless about Canada, but I figure if it's freezing cold here it's got to be cold there, right? :)
ReplyDeleteAh! Fisher Price has a spot around here too. In fact, I could have easily hired the person who designs the Toys R Us stores and they wouldn't have much left to do.
ReplyDeleteI could never in a million years imagine ironing my sheets either.
Fisher Price. Love it!
ReplyDeleteIn fact I love all your answers.
Well, actually I just love you.
I love the smell of bacon too though...is that going to be a huge relationship issue?
Ohh, I love Raisin Bran...but I love to eat it at night...
ReplyDeleteDog poop = definitely gross! ;)
ReplyDeleteLaura - you make me laugh. It gets very hot here in the summer time (with the exception of last summer, not sure what happened there). It was SO cold here today that my hands froze while I was pumping gas and I almost cried because they hurt.
ReplyDeleteBeth - I am on a mission to find someone, anyone, who irons their sheets.
Hiya A - Just so you know, I love you too. To bits.
Momof3inVA - Want to hear something sad? I don't have any Raisin Bran. I ate the last of it yesterday.
I hope to one day sit down as a family at the dining room table and eat dinner and talk etc
ReplyDeleteOoohh, yeah! that's it! My decorating style is Fisher Price, too!
ReplyDeleteFisher Price!! Hilarious!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, us mini-van moms are the coolest!!!
Hey Adge! - You will love it! So crazy and fun!
ReplyDeleteM - Not everyone can pull off he Fisher Price look. It takes talent ;-)
Amy - high five girlfriend. We know what's what.
Ooohh, yeah! that's it! My decorating style is Fisher Price, too!
